Production and polish of paraxylene

Benzene, toluene and paraxylene (BTX) are produced by steam cracking of naphtha or using a continuous regeneration technique (Aromizing). Paraxylene (PX) is used to produce polyethylene terephthalate (PET), which is used in plastics and various synthetic fibers.
